PTFE Coated Shatterproof Globes

Superior to silicone rubber coated globes, these PTFE Coated Globes are more transparent, allowing more lumen output and increased range of vision.  PTFE Coated Globes are also easier to clean!  They resist thermal shock from grease and other liquid splatters. In addition PTFE has excellent long-term resistance to extreme heat or cold, (-390 deg.F to 500 deg.F) and is unaffected by ultraviolet (UV) light. PTFE is chemically inert and is normally unaffected by chemicals. PTFE will not yellow, crack or flake.
