Shipping Terms:

• We usually ship via United States Postal Mail (USPS) or UPS, if you have other preferences please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.  We have found that for international orders up to US $500, the USPS shipping is roughly US $15.

Payment Terms: 

• Institutions such as universities, libraries, museums, historical societies, schools, etc. are set up with "net 30" terms, with a valid purchase order and 3 credit references.  Individuals and small businesses must prepay, using a check, COD, or wire transfer for foreign customers.  We will be happy to prepare a pro forma invoice or estimate, for you to anticipate the actual shipping charges.

• We welcome your calls during our normal business hours 9 am to 5 pm EST.   However, if it is difficult for you to call us during those hours, please leave messages or orders, 24 hours a day,  on our answering machine.  Be sure to leave a phone number and time we could reach you if we have questions about your order.

    • Check:   We accept checks, in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank, payable to Akkra.  Iinclude the merchandise total, plus 15% for estimated shipping charges.

    • COD:  We will be happy to send your order via UPS or USPS COD.  Please be aware that this incurs an additional charge by the carrier, we will contact you with the exact amount.   

    • Wire Transfer:  Please request bank details.
