We have introduced a new product, the PTFE Iron Plate. Now you can avoid sticky situations when ironing with the PTFE covered Iron Plate. Simply attach to your existing iron and you'll be able to safely iron all fabrics from the toughest cottons and linens to the most delicate silks, satins, and synthetics - even leathers! Plus, with the PTFE covered sole plate, nothing will stick — not even spray starch, fuse-able interfacing or fusible web.
The 100th anniversary of the Guild of Bookworkers in New York City was a great success. Bookbinders and conservationists from across the country came together to attend workshops, seminars, events and even had some time to peek into a vendor room. We had the privilege of being in the vendor room. We met customers that we have had for years, as well as having the pleasure of meeting new people and learning of their businesses and hobbies alike. We also got to share with them our story and our products that we take great pride in. We found that bookbinders and conservationists responded with great enthusiasm to our custom made delaminating tool, featured on the left/right/below. It is easy to grip as it has a sturdy quadratic handle, but the part they liked best was the 1 inch flexible end that is able to slide easily into hard to reach areas. One of the customers was afraid to even pick it up as they said that once you touch it, you really can't let it go! We love compliments like this and it proved right as it was the biggest hit for us at the show.
